More and more companies are aware that compressed air is very expensive and that it is worth paying attention to the effective and efficient use of this expensive energy source.

“By measuring to knowing” provides a better insight into the compressed air process and offers opportunities for optimization. Pressure is a cost driver that should not be underestimated; 1 bar pressure costs about 7% energy. Unnecessary pressure loss (eg due to leakage) or an unnecessarily high system pressure leads directly to extra costs that can be easily saved (see table).

Optimal system pressure leads directly to:

- 6 to 10% power reduction
- Improved compressed air speed (speed = resistance = energy)
- Less leakage loss
- Drier compressed air
-Less residual oil vapor (= see graph)
- Lower costs

Ants Pressure sensors

The program contains a wide choice of transmitters (ModBus and 4…20mA), including for measuring:

Vacuum
Low pressure
High pressure
Pressure differential

All transmitters can be connected directly to the SUTO S330 / S331 data logger, but also to any other data monitoring system.
